Create Keywords

This page explains how to define keywords correctly for monitoring in the Sociovite API.

Keyword Optimization

• Use OR for variations (abbreviation + full name)
• Use quotes for exact phrases with spaces
• Use AND to narrow to a specific context
• Mix single words and phrases when needed
• Keywords are case insensitive

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Invalid keyword format

• Always use quotes for phrases with spaces
• Make sure OR/AND are written in uppercase
• Avoid excessive special characters

Empty results

• Check keyword spelling
• Extend the date range
• Add or adjust monitored platforms

Rate limit exceeded

• Add a short delay between requests
• Batch multiple keywords in a single request
• Monitor and respect your API quota
